July 24, 2013
Today was a long day, I was there from 8:40 until 6:10! He saw patients in the morning, and didn't start his surgeries until after 1. He removed what I think is called a demiod from one dog. This is a piece of skin in the eye that shouldn't be there. On a gray hound named lucky he did a double enucleation because the dog had had such high pressures for so long. This caused there to be a LOT of bleeding, and I had to hold an ice pack on the incision spaces for 20 minutes after Dr. Wolf was done. We didn't start Einstein's cataract surgery (pictured above) till 4, and it took about 2 hours to complete!
