Dr. Wolf had a dentist appointment today so I got to come in later! I was there from 9:45 till 4:10. He had 2 brief rechecks and 4 surgeries. The first surgery was an eyelid mass removal in which he had me blot the blood so that he could see what he was doing. During this surgery, he asked me what a Cataract was, and I told him it was a clouding of the lens cause by fat in diabetics or it could be hereditary. He told me I was correct, and that he just wanted to make sure I was learning something; because he heard on the radio that people who do unpaid internships don't learn anything. The second surgery was a CBA that took about a minute. The third surgery was to fix harley's eye, in which he had me hold the gland up. This time it stayed down! Last but not least was a cataract surgery on a dog name George. The video above is Dr. Wolf injecting the new lens into the eye!
